Fashion Design. Istituto Marangoni Milan 2020-2021.
Qiongwen is a Chinese Fashion Designer, graduate of the Istituto Marangoni in Milan.
For Qiongwen, fashion is a kind of language used to share her interests. Printed design is her biggest passion and her works are dense with discovery and exploration of the surrounding world and life.
She strives to improve her printed design skills in the future, always combining narrative themes to express her work.
The concept behind the project originates from the designer’s idea of growing up and living.
From Tod’s iconic Gommino, the sustainable ready-to-wear and accessories collection is inspired by a tale of fantasy.
"I took inspiration from Tod's background to create my illustrations."
Tod’s iconic Gommino was reinterpreted into a symbiotic and fantastic spirit that travels around the world in those shoes.
The project shows that for the designer restart doesn’t mean giving up everything, but rather is another way to exist.
