The project was inspired by the world of wines and Prosecco as the main material used is cork.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The approach of this collection of shoes and bags is to embrace nature, take care of the environment with the aim to move towards a more sustainable fashion world.

SUSTAINABILITY

The used materials are cork, obtained from the bark of the Cork Oak tree, natural rubber made from the milk of the Hevea tree, and transparent plastic.

INTERVIEW

"I wanted to find a material which is completely new yet also renewable and is in line with Tod's DNA."

The project is a combination of Italian traditions with a more mindful approach to consumption.

The idea is to elevate cork into a sophisticated yet luxurious material, giving it new meaning in the fashion industry.
