Erfan is an Iranian Accessories Designer, graduate of the Istituto Marangoni in Florence.
BIOGRAPHY
Photography, fashion and graphic design are Erfan's specializations, and after subsequent studies in Fine Arts, he has created his own personal brand of scarf accessories in 2016, currently active.
He has specific interests in cinema, arts, literature and electronic music, which are large sources of inspiration for his designs.
"AN ITALIAN SPACE ODYSSEY" is about an alien family visiting Italy for their holidays.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The sustainable collection is composed by summer, retro and futuristic accessories.
SUSTAINABILITY
Wood, soy, seaweed and algae have been used to develop alternative filaments used in the 3D printing process, as well as UBQ materials and PolyTerra™PLA.
INTERVIEW
"I have chosen some essential elements from Tod's, such as the Gommino and the D Bag."
The concept is based around the alien family experiencing the Italian " Dolce Vita” between the 60s and 70s.
The aim is to keep signature Tod’s elements and craftsmanship, while exploring innovative designs and sophisticated silhouettes.
