Alexandre is a Brazilian accessories designer, graduate of the Istituto Marangoni in Florence.
BIOGRAPHY
As a child, Alexandre enjoyed drawing and painting, in particular shoes, and the women of his family. In particular his aunt gave him an undeniable “love for fashion”.
After Product Design and Visual Art, he studied Jewelry Design, but the Master in Istituto Marangoni brought him to expand his interests for accessories, giving him the tools to express his real self.
The inspiration for the project came thinking about what is essential in life.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The responsible collection is a homage to family roots and heritage and is developed around Tod’s logo, revisited and reinterpreted.
SUSTAINABILITY
The focus on sustainability is by using biodegradable leather and apply an use to the waste, such as creating a woven texture for the items.
INTERVIEW
"The "T" of Tod's is the main symbol in my whole project. It is present in every product."
The collection is an ode to luxury, heritage, roots and tradition and pays tribute to what is truly essential.
The monogram logo comes as the main detail in a capsule composed by simple and elegant shapes of the accessories and trench coat.
