António Castro
António was born in Lisbon and is currently studying for his Fashion Masters at Central Saint Martins, where he was recipient of the L’Wren Scott Scholarship.
He is specialised in Textiles for fashion, with weaving specialism, print and textile development.

Background
António graduated in Textile Design from Central Saint Martins, in 2016 and then went on to Intern at Trend Union / Li Edelkoort, in Paris.
In 2018 and 2019, he worked in the Maison Margiela's textile department of the Artisanal collection in Paris and, in parallel, worked as a developer of hand-woven textiles for John Alexander Skelton, in London.
