Andrej Gronau
Andrej is a German born Design student studying in the MA Fashion Knitwear pathway at Central Saint Martins.
He came in touch with fashion quite early from his mother as she was often sewing and draping garments at home.
Student Project
Nina Hagen was the muse for the project which led Andrej to be inspired by boxy shapes and vivid colours. Andrej chose to not only interpret the Gommino, but saw an area to see socks and stockings which Tod’s could incorporate to compliment the shoes. Andrej also shows his specialism in Knit throughout his exploration of bags to create netting with Tod’s classic closures and iconography in the details.
